This tour involves a great deal of walking over both days, as well as a number of steps. All entrance fees, photo and video permits are included in the price. The order of the itinerary may vary depending on the day of the week. Comfortable non-slip shoes are recommended. It is forbidden to take long overcoats, large bags, umbrellas or bottles inside. Credit cards are accepted in the shops and US Dollars and Euros may be accepted, unofficially, in the souvenir shops and by the street vendors. Queues are to be expected at the venues. Works by Impressionist painters are housed in a different building within a separate exhibition and therefore will not be included in the visit to the Hermitage. The boat route is subject to change depending on the water level. There are 14 steps at the embarkation/disembarkation of the canal boat. It may also be necessary to cross other boats to reach your specific vessel. Whilst there are sufficient seats for everyone on the boat, we cannot guarantee that you’ll be able to sit in the area of your choice (either inside or on the open deck). The Church on the Spilled Blood is currently undergoing restoration; during your visit some of the domes will be surrounded by scaffolding. For calls between mid-June and mid-July, there may be up to a 15 minute walk to reach the Church on the Spilled Blood and possible delays at the entrance, this is due to the UEFA Euro 2020 Championship fan zone being located in the same area; in some cases it may be necessary to omit the visit.
