  • Q:
    Will there be any restrictions that may impact my spa experience?
    A:

    Thermal suite, steam rooms, relaxation room, sauna, changing rooms and lockers will remain closed. All other areas of the Spa will remain fully operational and will not impact your Spa experience.

    There will be enhanced health and well-being measures in place to protect everyone on board. These protocols included enhanced sanitation, appropriate social distancing and mandatory wearing of face masks (with the exception when having facial treatment).

    For the salon, hair washing is compulsory and no dry cuts will be permitted.

    For the gym, there will be a log in and log out procedure to gain entry. The capacity will be limited and social distancing between equipment will be in place. For ‘High Intensity’ activities in the gym, a facemask will not be required.

    Fitness classes will be operating at a small capacity.

    The Retreat will be at limited capacity due to social distancing.

    Spa seminars will take place with social distancing.

  • Q:
    Can I cancel or amend a spa appointment or package?
    A:

    Before your holiday:

    If you need to amend or cancel a spa treatment or service before your holiday starts, you can do so via My P&O Cruises, free of charge, up until three days before your departure date.

     

    Refunds will be applied to the card that was used to purchase the spa treatment or service and you will receive confirmation of your amendment or cancellation via email. 

     

    If you have a query, you can also call the team on 0800 369 9901 between 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. However, cancellations can’t be made over the phone.

     

    If you’ve purchased a spa package for a holiday on Azura, Britannia, Iona or Ventura, and you’d like to amend or cancel the package before your cruise, you can do so by contacting the Oasis spa package reservation team via email up until three days before your departure date: oasisspapackage@theonboardspa.com

     

    On board:

    You can amend or cancel a spa treatment or service on board. However, cancellations may incur a charge.

     

    If you cancel on board within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee*.

  • Q:
    What kinds of products are used in the Oasis Spa and Salon?
    A:

    Elemis products are used in the spa, and Kérastase and L’Oreal brands are used in the salon. All the products are available to buy on board too. 

  • Q:
    What facilities does the Oasis Spa and Salon offer?
    A:

    Britannia, Ventura, Azura, Iona and Arcadia

     

    Facilities on board these ships include:

    ·         Thermal Suite with heated rooms – such as sauna, steam room, arctic cold room (on board Britannia and Azura only, from April 2020) – experience showers, heated beds and Hydrotherapy Suite (on board Britannia, Arcadia and Iona only).

    ·         Dry relaxation room.

    ·         Treatment rooms including a couples room.

    ·         Salon providing hair and nail services.

    ·         Gym with cardio and weight machines. The gym offers timetabled studio classes as well as personal training services.

     

    Aurora, Oceana

     

    Facilities on board these ships include:

    ·         Communal steam room and sauna.

    ·         Treatment rooms.

    ·         Salon providing hair and nail services.

    ·         Gym with cardio and weight machines. The gym offers timetabled studio classes as well as personal training services.

     

    Mobile wash basins

    All ships excluding Britannia and Azura offer mobile wash basins for wheelchair users.

  • Q:
    Is the Oasis Spa and Salon accessible for guests with disabilities?
    A:

    Most spa and salon facilities and services are accessible to everyone. Unfortunately, however, there are some restrictions:

     

    Fitness classes:

    We can’t offer classes for wheelchair users or guests with restricted vision.

    Thermal Suites: 

    We’re unable to offer access to our Thermal Suites to wheelchair users or service animals.

     

    Access to the Hydrotherapy Suite: 

    On Britannia, the Thermal Suite is accessible. However, the pool doesn’t have a hoist – only steps into the pool.

     

    The Retreat:

    We’re unable to help wheelchair users onto the loungers in The Retreat. Carers can access The Retreat free of charge when accompanying a wheelchair user who has purchased a spa package. However, the carer doesn’t have access to the other benefits of the package.

    Is there a gym on board?
    A:

    Yes, every ship has a gym. 

     

    The Oasis Health Club offers personal training sessions and fitness classes including:

    Tour De Cycle

    Yoga

    Pilates

    Body Composition

    Nutritional Consultation

    Body Sculpt Boot Camp

    Push 'n' Lift

    TRX (Britannia only)

    Bungee Fit (Britannia only)

     

    Gym

    Our gyms are open to all guests and are fully equipped with all the latest Technogym equipment. They’re staffed by trained fitness instructors who are on hand to give you help and guidance. Personal Trainers are also available to tailor bespoke fitness programs to help you reach your fitness goals.

     

    Equipment includes:

    Treadmills

    Cross-trainers

    Rowing machines

    Free weights

  • Q:
    Can I add spa treatments to my wedding booking?
    A:

    You can book wedding spa treatments when planning your special day. These will be added to your on-board account.

     

    All additional spa services can be booked in advance on My P&O Cruises. Payment is taken at the time of booking. Because the Oasis Spa is so popular with our guests, we recommend booking in advance of your departure.
